A Mid-Week Gift for You

Sometimes you just need a new texture to add to your collection - right?  Well, your wish is my command.  I call this texture Dappled Dawn 1.  Although it works well on skies or any photograph with a horizon, you can apply it to almost anything.  I hope you download it and enjoy using it.

If you like to experiment with Filters after the application of a texture, you can produce a nice painterly effect with this one.  As always, I love to see how you use the textures, so if you have the time and inclination, send me a link so that I can applaud your creativity.

Although I titled the texture Dappled Dawn, I applied it to this sunset.

  4. It's amazing how the texture changes the time of day in each photo! I really like the visual interest it provides for the sky. Brilliant idea to provide a horizon line.

I'm not downloading your lovely textures but I do enjoy seeing them and how you apply them. Very inspirational.
