Sharing With Texture Tuesday

This beautiful path dedicated to anyone who wants to walk, jog or bike without having to deal with traffic, intersections, noise pollution, etc. is where I try to walk almost every day.

The paved path winds around for miles with views of young forest, mountains and little local landmarks.  Old-style lanterns mark the path, making it safe and pleasant to walk even once the sun goes down.

It is so well maintained by the municipality that even in the dead of winter it is snow and ice free.  I am so grateful for this path that I don't begrudge the rather high property taxes we pay to live here.

This photograph has been enhanced with Kim Klassen's Stained Linen texture.  Other edits, after the addition of her texture, were made too.  It is being linked up with Kim's "Texture Tuesday".  Pop over and join us!

P.S.  Scroll down to my previous post if you would like to download a free texture from moi!

  3. That's one gorgeous path...I wish we had a path like that here...I'll just have to settle with my sweet little park I go to almost everyday to walk. I love the use of the texture, it gives the photo an aged look and feel to it.

Thanks for sharing and looking forward to "Friday" :D

    Bright blessings,
