Photo Art Friday, August 3rd, 4th

Hey - here we are in August!  Hope summer is being good to you.  And if you are in the Southern Hemisphere hope winter is being good to you!!

This week for Photo Art Friday you can link up any image of photo art that you choose, or you can elect to follow the prompt and link up an image that features
'door(s)'.

Our virtual gallery always opens Thursday evening for those of you who like to link up early.

If you are new to Photo Art Friday, please know that everyone is welcome!  You can read the guidelines for participation here.

Here are my contributions to our virtual gallery for this week:

This version has the addition of one of my Vintage Manuscript textures.

Next week bring and hang any piece of your photo ART in our virtual gallery.

Or, if you would like the challenge of a prompt, how about photo art that in some way features "gift(s)".

As a little thank you for your participation in our weekly photo art showcase, here is a free texture just for you:

  4. Bonnie, your doors are beautiful and such a juxtaposition - the blue doors with wrought iron next to the red doors with glass panels.

  7. Your colourations for the doors was terrific. If only you could have a new colour on your front door without painting each week. Valerie

  25. This is such an intriguing process you applied to your doors. It really has me looking hard and wondering just which way you went to get there! The first version looks like a clipping from a very old book about travel in an exotic land, but I see your signature so know it is contemporary. When the red door explodes onto the scene it adds a crazy air of mystery to it all, which only gets deeper as the texturizing sets in next. And then the whole beauty of full colour shines through and our eyes are dazzled by the intricate details of the graphic design in and around the doors. What a fun trip!
(Sorry I was so late getting here. Just dawned on me this morning that I had photo art and that it didn't have to be about doors. Duh! You dropped your message on my blog before I had time even to get the link to your gallery up, but it's there now. Colour me slow--I know you have the skills to do so!)
