Mom and I came back from shop. Peter cooked dinner already. Don be surprised, my younger brother can cook a lot and his foods are always delicious. But moms cookings still the best. We ate dinner and I cleared up the plates. After washing the plates we all retired to our different rooms.

After eating dinner with my children, I went upstairs to my room.

”Argh!!! I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I immediately opened the locker for my pills and swallowed them. The pains died down some minutes later.

I had an heart problem ever since that greedy man left me and my children for a rich mistress. I have to stay alive for my children but the doctor said I have to undergo an heart surgery and I don have the money. I was in deep thought till I fell asleep.

Next Morning

Michaels Pov

My eye lid were red and I was sitting upright on my bed. I could not get a better sleep yesterday because Maya was playing a loud music and screaming throughout. I drowsily got down from bed and went inside the bathroom. I had a quick bath then I headed downstairs for breakfast. The maids set the tables and served the food.

”Good morning sir ” The maids greeted. I simply nod and sat down for breakfast. Maya sang happily as she was coming down the stairs. That witch is happy after ruining my sleep; I muttered.

”Good morning my sweet brother ” She greeted as she sat down. I glared at her.

If looks could kill then she would be six inches below the ground. James also came downstairs styling his hair backwards. The maids were drooling again.

”Morning Michael ” James greeted. I simply scowled at him. I finished my breakfast and carried my briefcase. The driver opened the door and I went inside and he drove off. I checked the rear mirror and I saw James jumping and waving.

”Payback time ” I grinned.

Few minutes later we got to my company. The driver opened the door and I got down from the car. Suddenly, a Ferrari car was speeding towards me.

”Argh!!! I jumped back in fright landed on my butt. The car perfectly swerved right and parked.

The door opened and I saw James and Maya laughing loudly.

”Such a scared baby ”Maya mocked.

”Thats what you get for leaving me behind ” James said sticking out his tongue.

I glared at the both of them before entering my company and my bodyguards followed me. Those two fools are gonna give me an heart attack one day.

”Thanks for coming ” I said as the customer left. Then a guy came in.

”Good morning ” I greeted. But he was just staring at my face irritatingly.

”I need some groceries ” he said and dropped the money on the counter not wanting to touch me. I packed the groceries and he immediately went out like he chased.

Well I know hes irritated by my face. I do get that a lot but am used to it.

”Mom! I called but I got no reply. I went inside the store and I saw her lying on the floor. Mom!!!!. I immediately called the ambulance.

”Hello! Please there is an emergency; please hurry up!!! I was already shaking.

”Mom please don leave us ” I cried. The ambulance came and mum was laid on a stretcher. I also entered inside the ambulance and we drove off.
