The following day I woke up before sunrise even though I had only gotten two hours of sleep the night before. But I could not get up immediately because the things that happened the night before had come flooding back into my mind.

”Alexa, what do you have planned for today? Do you want to put your question to Jonathan in front of everyone, or do you want to have a private conversation with him? ” I was struggling for air when the thought occurred to me.

I got out of bed sluggishly and went to the bathroom. I concluded that the best course of action would be, to begin with, a long soak in the bathtub.

”What could be wrong with you? ” After calling out to my wolf multiple times with no response, I felt my anxiety levels rising to an all-time high.

Because I was preoccupied with the bubbles, I completely missed that it was already noon. Even worse, I was utterly oblivious to the person who knocked on the door. Consequently, I was taken aback when the doorway to the restroom opened, and Jonathan walked out wearing nothing more than a t-shirt and jeans.

”Do you have any plans to get some fresh air today? Its possible that youve forgotten how much your mom begged me to come along with you. ” Jonathan positioned himself, so his back was against the door and pretended that my appearance was acceptable.

”Jonathan! You insane person! Get away! ” I let out a yell and threw the bar of soap I was holding at him. I was aggravated by the fact that he did not need to use my soap.

”Alexa, what else should you be embarrassed about? I saw you naked last night. Do you remember how I lifted you? ” When Jonathan makes a remark, it causes me to cover my face in embarrassment.

”Get away! If you don come out, your dad will hear about it from me! ” Jonathan does not appear to be afraid of his father, even though I threaten him. In order to stop the tears from falling, I simply reached for the bathrobe hanging there.

Jonathan gave the impression of having guilty feelings. He moved toward the bathrobe and handed it to me, saying, ”Hurry up, I have a lot more to do. ” He then turned his back on me and walked away.

When the door finally closed, I had a sense of relief. ”How did Jonathan get into my room in such a manner? Doesn he understand that Im a female? ” I mutter the words while quickly rinsing my mouth out.

Because I was concerned that Jonathan would return, I hurriedly got dressed.

Because I almost always wear shorts and a T-shirt, getting dressed does not take very long. I only needed a few moments to get dressed and leave my room.

I was already on my way when I saw Elijah walking down the stairwell, so I sped up to catch up with him before I got too far behind.

”Would you mind if I spoke with you for a second? ” As soon as he looks at me, I say.

Elijahs words rendered me incapable of responding because he said, ”Don worry about what happened last night; its not a big deal. ”

I continued apologizing for what had happened while explaining that I didn remember what had occurred but that my mother had explained it to me. ”Im sorry, I don remember what happened, but my mom explained it to me. ”

”Apologies accepted; please stop feeling sorry for me; however, I was not offended. If you feel the need to make amends, you should discuss the matter with Jonathan because he prevented you from killing me and was hurt as a result. ”Because of Elijahs remarks, I stopped in the middle of the path.

”That is the problem for me… What is the best way for me to reach Jonathan? If he always manages to find some new way to make me angry whenever we get together, then… ” I exhaled deeply and mumbled something to myself.

”Can you tell me where my mother is? ” When I saw Joel in the kitchen, I asked him about it.

”Aunt Lolita is dating uncle Alfonzo. Anyway, how are you doing? You gave us a fright last night, ”A remark that Joel made caused me to feel ashamed and embarrassed.

I look at Joel with a smile on my face and say, ”Im sure I scared the hell out of you guys. ”

In response, Joel stands up and puts the dishes in the sink, saying, ”Not really, because we
e used to Jonathan. ” Jonathan was the one who was speaking. ”As for the devil, hes been waiting for you for more than an hour, ” he said further. ”As for me, Ive been waiting for you. ”

”Huh? What came to pass with him? ” I was curious and concerned.

”Jonathan? Its possible to find him. ”The response from Joel was a laugh.

I chose to ignore Joels teasing and bolted out the door to see Jonathan. He appeared to be growing increasingly impatient with the wait.

”Please accept my apologies, Jonathan— ” I was in the middle of thinking something when I looked up and saw him leaning against the car and kissing another woman.

(What a raving lunatic! How on earth was he able to kiss someone in broad daylight and the middle of the street?! As I looked at them, I muttered an angry response to myself.

”Are you certain you won be coming with me, Jonathan? ”

Jonathan let out a chuckle as I overheard the girl speaking alluringly to him in a whisper.

”Hey! I was under the impression that we were going somewhere! ” I yell at Jonathan to let him know I have arrived at this location.

”Oh, hi! So you
e going to be the big sister in the future! I want to introduce myself; my name is Liza, and Im a friend of your brother Jonathans. ”

I made a conscious effort not to raise an eyebrow when Liza came over to me and gave me a hug.

I resisted the urge to smile as I jerked myself away from Lizas bear hug and said, ”Hello, Liza, it was a pleasure to meet you. ”

As Jonathan was getting on his motorcycle, he called out to his companions, ”Come on, and lets go. ”

”You are such a pain in the neck! In any case, it was a pleasure to meet you. I sincerely hope we will be able to stay in touch, ”Liza mumbles something as she dashes over to Jonathan.

I could only shake my head in silence as I waited for Liza to give Jonathan his space.

”What exactly are you holding out for at this point? Hop in! ” Jonathan remarked as he passed the helmet over to me.

”I had the impression that you were going to go shopping. What exactly are we going to do to— ” Because Jonathan was staring at me, I decided not to continue my question and instead rode on his back.

Its possible that Jonathan considered riding a motorcycle instead of a car because there are so many cars on the road.

And Im not bored because Ive seen the beauty of Phantom Town, which is far from where we used to live.

”Hey, do you remember what we did last night?

I am grateful to you for bringing me back to life. ”

I will say it when the motorcycle comes to a complete stop at the red lights.

Jonathan gave me a stern look and then said, ”It was my aunt Lolita who told me the other night that you don remember anything at all. Hm. Are you certain, or are you just embarrassed? ” He inquired, which caused a frown to form on my face.

I look Jonathan in the eyes and declare vehemently, ”Im not embarrassed; I don remember. ” Jonathans response is, ”I don remember. ”

”Then you questioned your wolf, who is aware of everything that took place throughout the previous evening. Simply because I know that even if I were the one to tell you, you wouldn believe me. ” Jonathan shows his reaction.

When the car behind us honked its horn, Jonathan started the motorcycle because it startled him. I was about to ask more questions when it happened.

”Have you inquired with my wolf yet? I have already done that, but for some reason, she is treating me as if I have committed a heinous crime by ignoring me. ” While signing, I made a mumbling sound.

”Try to call the other one… ”

When I heard what Jonathan had to say, I couldn help but make a face. ”What exactly do you mean when you talk about the other? ” I have a question.
